Frozen Fudge Funday Sundae
How to Make Frozen Fudge Funday Sundae
Base:
24 Oreo Cookies, finely crushed
1/4 cup margarine, melted
Combine above and mix well. Press lightly in bottom of ungreased 13x9 pan.
Filling:
1/2 gallon brick style vanilla ice cream
1 cup lightly salted cocktail peanuts
Cut ice cream into 1 inch thick slices, place over crushed cookies. Spread ice cream to cover completely. Sprinkle with peanuts. Cover and freeze.
Topping:
2 cups powdered sugar
6 oz pkg (1 cup) semi-sweet chocolate chips
1 13 oz can evaporated milk
1/2 cup margarine
1 tsp vanilla
In saucepan combine all but the vanilla. Bring to a boil over medium heat. Cook 8 min. stirring constantly. Remove from heat and stir in vanilla. Cool 1 hour.
Pour topping over ice cream filling. Cover and freeze. Let stand at room temperature a few minutes before serving.
